Terrapin SVC was inspired by a family tradition that began in 1978, when Bill’s father had the family pool installed by Carlton Pools. Bill’s father maintained the pool so meticulously that it became a showcase for the builder.

After his passing, the responsibility fell to Bill, planting the seeds of what would become a lifelong passion for pool craftsmanship. This personal journey led Bill to build vinyl liner swimming pools and working for the company that installed the family pool.
